50 Things to Do With Kiddos This Summer

Summer is well underway here in Walworth County and by now, you may be running out of ideas for things to do with your kiddos. Thats why we’ve compiled a list with our top 50 picks of things to do with the kiddos this summer. Check it out:

  1. Sign up for Summer Camp at Nailed It DIY Studio in Elkhorn! Kiddos can pick from a variety of projects throughout the summer and make new creations each week.
  2. Catch a Concert or Movie in the Park! Enjoy family-friendly showings at Phoenix Park in Delavan, on the shores of Fontana Beach, and under the lights at Harris Park in Elkhorn.
  3. Explore our State Park system. Did you know Big Foot Beach State Park offers over 5 miles of hiking trails, a family campground, swimming beach and picnic and playground areas?
  4. Shop the local Farmers Markets for fresh veggies, fruits, flowers, and other nifty finds. Challenge yourselves to cook a whole meal with ingredients found at your local markets.
  5. Turn your eyes to the skies and go stargazing! Geneva Lakes Astrophysics and STEAM is hosting a guided Perseid Meteor Shower Cruise with Lake Geneva Cruiseline on August 11th.
  6. Take up a family bowling tournament at 10 Pin Pub in Walworth.
  7. Cool off and escape from the heat at the Lake Geneva Clue Room. Get the whole family together and see if you can solve the mystery before time runs out.
  8. Volunteer at the Lakeland Animal Shelter. Kiddos will love playing with pups and kitties looking to find their furever homes.
