Santa arrives in Walworth County this weekend – and he is everywhere! Here’s a quick rundown of the Santa Sightings. Stop in to The Bottle Shop in Lake Geneva on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and capture a photo with Santa and sip some wine. Grand Geneva and Lake Lawn Resort are having Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. You can see the big man himself when you take the East Troy Railroad Museum’s Christmas Train that starts this weekend. Bradley’s Department Store in Delavan has scheduled a visit with him on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. He’ll also be at The Apple Barn in Elkhorn on Saturday from noon to 3 pm. He’s back at Grand Geneva on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm. Don’t forget, you can get a glimpse of him at his lake home from the deck of the Santa Cruise. Sunday offers breakfast with Santa at Timber Ridge Lodge, Grand Geneva, Crafted Americana, and The Abbey Resort.

Ice Skating in Walworth County

ice-skating-3002574_1920Ice has created many magical experiences for the Lake Geneva area this winter. In January, we were fortunate enough to welcome Ice Castles to the Riveria Beach in Lake Geneva. This magical outdoor experience, no doubt, has given guests a new appreciation of the beauty and wonderment of ice.

However, nothing beats the classic winter tradition of lacing up a pair of skates and taking to the ice. Whether it’s skating arm-in-arm with a loved one or teaching your kids to skate for the first time, nothing compares to the wintry magical feeling of gliding across the ice.
