Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! While you’re trying not to take the after turkey nap, or you’re out scoring some holiday deals, we have your weekend plans.
Santa Sightings
Santa arrives in Walworth County this weekend – and he is everywhere! Here’s a quick rundown of the Santa Sightings. Stop in to The Bottle Shop in Lake Geneva on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and capture a photo with Santa and sip some wine. Grand Geneva and Lake Lawn Resort are having Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. You can see the big man himself when you take the East Troy Railroad Museum’s Christmas Train that starts this weekend. Bradley’s Department Store in Delavan has scheduled a visit with him on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. He’ll also be at The Apple Barn in Elkhorn on Saturday from noon to 3 pm. He’s back at Grand Geneva on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm. Don’t forget, you can get a glimpse of him at his lake home from the deck of the Santa Cruise. Sunday offers breakfast with Santa at Timber Ridge Lodge, Grand Geneva, Crafted Americana, and The Abbey Resort.
Tree Lightings
Need some help getting into the holiday spirit? Head to downtown Delavan to the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Tower Park on Friday night at 5:30 pm. Can’t make that tree lighting? Head to the south side of Geneva Lake on Saturday at 5 pm, where Santa is Lighting Up Fontana.
Craft & Vendor Fairs
If you are looking for a different kind of shopping experience, there are just a couple of craft and vendor fairs this weekend. Check them out on Saturday at Alpine Valley Resort in East Troy, YMCA Camp MacLean in Burlington, Harbor Shores in Lake Geneva, and at Delavan Lake Store in Delavan.
