What’s Happening This Weekend in Walworth County | Nov. 22-24

Here in Wisconsin we have our very own special holiday – it’s Deer Hunter’s Widows’ Weekend! Here’s a couple of events for you to gather your friends and celebrate:

1. Tips & Sips | Geneva National Resort & Club Simulator Studio | Lake Geneva

Geneva National Golf Club is having a Tips and Sips – Golf with Splashes of Wine on Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm. Gather your group of three or more for an hour of golf instruction with PGA Pro Rick Leslie in the indoor simulator studio, and enjoy a glass of wine. Reserve your session today!

2. Deer Widow’s Weekend at Staller | Staller Estate Winery | Delavan

Head to Staller Estate Winery on Saturday between 11 am and 4 pm for a crafting bash. You can make up to four projects for $20 each. They will have all of the supplies, you just need to arrive with your creativeness. Reservations are not necessary, but supplies are first come, first serve.

3. Light Up The Night | Downtown Burlington

With Thanksgiving next week, the holiday celebrations have started. Burlington is starting their celebrations with Light Up The Night on Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm. Businesses will have extended hours and the sky will be illuminated with search lights to guide you to fantastic Christmas shopping deals. Contact the Burlington Chamber for more details.

4. Illumination Ceremony | Grand Geneva Resort & Spa | Lake Geneva

Join Grand Geneva Resort and Spa on Sunday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm for the kick-off of the annual Christmas in the County Celebration – the Illumination Ceremony. The switch will be flipped on more than two million holiday lights throughout the property followed by their grand fireworks display. You can roam the resort and take in all of the holiday displays including the gingerbread house display. There will also be kids’ activities, a visit from Santa, holiday cookies, and hot apple cider. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to those in need in the local community.
