The Lake Geneva area is full of fun fall activities, and we’ve got the highlights for you right here! Each week, we’ll feature Five Fun Fall Festivities (activities you can do this weekend)! For details or more things to do, visit our website.
- Visit downtown Lake Geneva for their annual Oktoberfest celebration.
Happening Saturday, October 10, the event features music, magic, and the Great Pumpkin Giveaway at 1:00 pm! Enjoy food and craft booths, restaurant & shopping specials, wagon hayrides, pony rides, bouncy castle, and more! Plus – don’t worry about parking; take the FREE shuttle! Park (for free!) at the northeast corner of the Home Depot parking lot; the shuttle runs continuously every 20 minutes to the downtown US Bank. The shuttle will run Saturday & Sunday, 10 am – 7 pm.
- Check out a local fish fry (or boil).
Our area is home to so many great fish fry restaurants – and a great fish boil! Why not treat your family to a dinner out tonight?!
- Visit Busy Barns’ Autumn Adventures, happening every weekend through October 26.
Your kids will love the hayride out to the pumpkin patch, picking their own pumpkin, and visiting the baby animal barn. Test your skills at the pumpkin launcher and work your way throughout the 4-acre trivia corn maze! The fun never ends at Busy Barns this fall.
- See the foliage in a whole new way – aboard the Lake Geneva Cruise Line.
Summer may be over – but cruising season is not! In fact, fall may be one of the best times to be aboard the Lake Geneva Cruise Line. The shoreline is bursting with autumn colors, and once the leaves are gone – you have a better view of the lake homes! Tours happen daily, including the Geneva Bay Tour, Full Lake Tour, Expanded Bay Tour, and Ice Cream Social. Visit their website for a full tour schedule.
- Join the festivities at Fall Family Festival at Lake Lawn Resort.
This weekend (Oct 10-12) is an “end of summer weekend celebration” at Lake Lawn Resort – packed with entertainment and activities for the whole family. Participate in fun fall games like scarecrow building, a scarecrow dress-and-dash, family Minute to Win It, pumpkin bowling, gourd room games, and more. Locals are invited to come out – caramel apple decorating, pumpkin painting, and the Fall Harvest Buffet can be purchased at each event location. Click here for the daily schedule of activities.
Check back next week for another five fun things to do this fall!
