Memorial Day weekend is almost here – the unofficial start of summer, a great weekend for area festivals, and most importantly – a time to honor those that have served and are serving our country. Our area is home to several great Memorial Day services and parades, so we have compiled a list for you of the county’s Memorial Day parades!

ChocolateFest | May 23-26
Burlington Festival Park, Burlington, WI
Join us in Chocolate City USA this weekend as the streets of Burlington go cocoa-crazy! With games, rides, cooking demonstrations, live chocolate carvings, great music & food, there is fun for the whole family at ChocolateFest. This volunteer-run festival gives all proceeds from the festival to a wide variety of community charities and civic groups.
Musical Murder Mystery Dinner Theater | May 23
Baker House/Maxwell Mansion, Lake Geneva, WI
Immerse yourself in history, mystery, and suspense at Baker House’s Musical Murder Mystery Dinner Theater! Enjoy a three-course dinner and interactive for just $60 per guest. This Friday offers two performances – 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Performances are performed at Maxwell Mansion, located 1 block from Baker House.
East Troy 38th Annual Annual Corn & Brat Roast | May 24-26
Village Square, East Troy, WI
The Annual Corn & Brat Roast features roasted sweet corn, grilled brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, beer & hard lemonade. Listen to live musical performances all weekend, including Chris Boyden (5/24), Liam Ford Band (5/25), and Smooth Blues (5/26). The Community wide Rummage Sale will also take place this weekend, on Saturday from 9-4, throughout East Troy. PLUS – Eric Grossmeyer of AntiqueWisconsin.com will be at Village Square doing Antique Appraisals – bring up to 3 items for appraisal!
Fontana Garden Club Garden Fair | May 24
Porter Court/Mill Street Plaza, Fontana, WI
Start your planting season off with the Fontana Garden Fair this Saturday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Perennial and annual flowers, herbs, prairie pants, garden crafts, art, plus delicious homemade pies will be available for purchase. All proceeds fund scholarships and environmental projects.
Spring Into the Past: Old World Flavors | May 24-25
Old World Wisconsin, Eagle, WI
Springtime is a flurry of activity on our 19th- and early 20th-century farmyards and homesteads, with lots of different seasonal chores for you to try each weekend. On this final weekend of the event, sample a variety of seasonal ethnic foods brought to Wisconsin by early German, Irish, Norwegian, Finnish and Polish immigrants.

Cabaret Dinner Theater | May 24

The Baker House Cabaret series features an amazingly talented cast of singers, dancers, musicians & entertainers. Guests will enjoy a delectable prix-fixe dinner at the lakefront Baker House 1885 & a 50 minute Musical Cabaret show performed in the Crystal Ballroom at Maxwell Mansion 1856 ( located just 1 block away).
